Riverton Day of Service
Saturday, September 7, 2024
Throughout Riverton City.
Riverton City Community Events
Riverton Day of Service coincides with National Day of Service every year. This year's Riverton Day of Service falls on Saturday, September 7, 2024. We have identified seven different areas where residents can lend a helping hand. Of course, there are countless other ways individuals can be of service on this day, but listed below are some of the projects the city has been made aware of. We hope everyone can find a way to serve those around them!

Other Possible Projects
Neighborhood cleanup
Organize your friends and neighbors to clean up the home/yard of an elderly person in your neighborhood that could use a little help in getting their yard ready for winter. You could clean their gutters and trim bushes and trees. Neighbors can stop by Riverton City offices to pick up a dump pass to drop items off at the land fill ( some restrictions apply to the voucher, restrictions are listed on the back of the voucher).
Walk a park
You can take a trash bag to a park near your home, pick up trash the wind has blown up against the fence, clean up after residents' dogs, etc. Rake the soft fall in the playground under the swings and slides. Bring a bucket and sponge to clean the playground equipment.
