Tricia L. Corcoran, LAc., Dipl. OM, has been treating patients with Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 15 years. As a former engineer from The Ohio State University, Tricia worked in corporate America for 12 years, and discovered acupuncture, herbal medicine, and dietary changes really helped her with a myriad of digestive complaints, endocrine issues, and later diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Celiac. She took a leap of faith and decided to go back to school so she could help others. Tricia obtained her 4 year Masters Degree at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine back in 2007 and completed an externship working in a hospital in Chengdu, China. Her invaluable experience working onboard a cruise ship as an acupuncturist for 12 years allowed her to treat thousands of patients for their pain, stress, sports injuries, gut health, autoimmune, sleep, anxiety, and much more. In 2020, she moved to Utah, working at a clinic using the best of both worlds, Eastern and Western Medicine. She now has her own practice, and often refers to herself as “an engineer of the body”, using both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Functional Medicine to help her patients treat the root cause of the problem. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves landing in Utah, where she can enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing! She is both empathetic and compassionate, and dedicated to bringing health and healing to her patients.
